I have websites that would take more than a full ream of paper if I were to print it out. A number of my sites use almost almost 100 pages just to create the effects I want. A lot of the pages are for internal pop-ups on some sites. I'm sure you want examples : Galactic Enterprise Ship Computer Master Index Changes in the Internet have me updating all my site to a more responsive format, but finding a builder that can handle the size without a terrible loss of the original site dynamics. I have small slideshows near the bottom of the page The Galactic Enterprise Log Book - Page 1. Then there is a simple game you can play Engineering (galacticenterprise.com) on the same page. I just want the best site building system without a major loss of functionality.

Q: The default size when starting is just "16" but no where does it state pt or pixel. 16pt and 16 pixel are two different sizes.

A:TemplateToaster gives two choices to set the layout of the page. These are –

Fixed Width Layout –

In this layout, the dimensions of the site is bound to a certain number of pixels (px). You can select element width in pixels. Header, Menu, Slideshow, Sidebar, and Footer are the elements whose width is bound to pixels.

Fluid Width Layout –

In this layout, the dimensions are calculated in percentage (%). If you choose fluid width layout of your template/website, you can select the width of Header, Menu, Slideshow, Sidebar, and Footer in percentage.

Interesting, that answer is to a question I asked some time ago about breakpoints vs fluid design with TT.
Sometimes I wonder if the moderators use fake names and English is not their native language!
I could not find anything either about your question or in the user guide. Do some searches with:
"difference between points and pixels"
All I could find was that Bootstrap 5 uses pixels.
As usual, put a ticket in and you'll probably get an answer.
If you do, please do a new post so we all know the answer.
(Too bad half the time they ask you to put a ticket in and the rest of us never see the answer.)

How do you create a menu "button" for subpages that is not linked to any page but only shows the subpages.

EG: the "Help" button on TT's main page that has 3 subpages. (I know how to create a child page, that's easy.)

Some programs call it a folder with child pages.

Fixed or fluid layout?

Can someone please explain in detail what the difference between a fixed and fluid layout is? Or is there a blog article, if so a link please? I asked back in 2017. (I just updated to version 8, thanks for the discount)

In the PAGE tab under Layout is a choice of Fixed or Fluid. I would like to see a blog article explaining how these 2 work and how it affects your layout in different device settings or breakpoints. Does the fluid setting use a grid and containers? The Blog tutorial on Prototyping was very good. It would be great if we had one using the fluid layout walking us through making a page/site. I know I can look at bootstrap but that's not going to have the TT interface.

can it be that the editing of elements in html5 mode is not fully supported?

While changing element styles in cms / shop mode works largely without any problems, in html5 mode this sometimes does not work or only partially.

For example with tables: Here I can change the background color in elements, but this only becomes visible when the page is rendered, not in the wysiwyg editor. However, if I change lines or spaces, this will not be accepted.

Which element changes should work in html5 mode and which shouldn't?

Contact Form Not Working

Hello I have created a contact form and added my email as the admin email. I have uploaded it to my website but when I send emails to myself, I receive nothing. I found the PHP script to check to see if my email was written in the code and it is. It is uploaded to a server and the website works. HOWEVER, I never receive the email. All spam is open and I ensured my email is open to accept. Do you have any advice?

We have a big problem, has anyone a idea or solution?

We need to open Links intern in a file structure but the new Edge browser opens the file structure directly in the edge browser and not locally.

We use the edge extension "localexplorer" the link is like "localexplorer:T:\Test1\Test2\Test3" but TemplateToaster dont allow to user the localexplorer: .... in the beginning of the link, the programm says that its a wrong link. Is there any solution to unse this format in TemplateToaster as link -> "localexplorer:T:\Test1\Test2\Test3"

I need to create a hyperlink to a internal server structure like \\127.0.0.1\test\test document\ or T:\test\test document.
The Problem that I got is that the link cannot include Whitespaces, but in the Server Structure are Whitespaces included.

The other Problem (without whitespaces) is that I cannot create hyperlinks to the structure because it is not a valid URL.

Is there any solution how I can create Hyperlinks with whitespaces.

Why does the heading in Tablet and Mobile keep changing positions after adjusting?

The Desktop page remains unchanged.

I've adjusted the alignment for both the tablet and mobile text frames in order that they are centered with the rest of the respective views. When I return the views the text frames have shifted. This happens again and again.

I have tried several different things, including changing the size of the text frame so it fits in one line verses two lines, reduced the font scale, etc. Each time the text views swap positions and jump to the upper left corner of the frame.

I noticed the same problem in the footer, before I deleted the image and text as it's not used these views.

This is driving me nuts!

With my old software Globescape CuteSITE builder, it had the option to "Insert your own html".

This gave the ability to add a reCAPTCHA "I am not a Robot" check box.

I added a gif image to my website and it required a needlessly complicated workaround.

The browse window to locate the image file to add specifically lists .bmp, .png, and a few variations of.jpg images as the only ones it recognizes to add as images. This forced me to add a needlessly slow-loading png of my image to update my website, then upload my gif separately and manually edit the html file of the page to change the image tag from "Corona.png" to "Corona.gif."

All this because I can't find any settings to adjust the software to recognize gif imags as image files to add.

How can I make such a settings change to avoid the need for such kludge in future updates of my site? Simply saying that gif isn't supported could only be described as a product defect, considering that I might wish at some future time to add an animated image.

Just updated the software to version 7.0.0.16721 Professional and it still doesn't change my image. By typing in the file name and extension of the hidden file, I can get it to pretend to update the image on the project file, but when I export it I still have the slower-loading png version instead.

And I just got a support ticket answer stating that this software is designed not to allow this standard internet image format to be used. Be advised of this when considering purchase of it.

Does anyone beside myself have issues when trying to setup Typography? Colors?

Its like they give you all these Color Options at start up, but as I'm clicking on them, the "only" thing I see changing color is the Header Title and the Navbar (sometimes) And then when I go into typography and say I want to change all my HEADING texts, I will go to H1, change it to say Handlee (google font) then go to H2 and change it to Handlee, but when I go back to H1, it's Arial??? I mean, at this point I am "SO" disappointed in this software, I just want my money back so bad...I truly feel I wasted it with this software right now.

Greeting, has anyone done a large HTML site with 50 to a 100 pages or more with Template Toaster? I know you can always split up a site and have a sub-domain with a link that looks seamless, like going to another page. Just wondering as I give T-T a good try and get too far. As T-T is a 32 bit problem, I mean program, it may not be practical. Thanks a lot!

Link Typography is just blue

Hyperlinks in content and also in footer do not appear like it´s defined. The text just turns blue. Should be orange when active and dark orange when hovered and grey when visited. But in all cases it stays just blue, allthough I have defined it in the element tab and the footer tab.

I want to change the text color from black to brown for all of the content. To do that I try to use the "Website Typography" but somewhow I can not find the correct way. I can do it by doubleclicking every column and change the color manually but this should not be the correct solution. Same problem with links. I want all links by default having a brown color. But they are blue by default. Can not change it only by doubleclicking each link and do every link manually.
