With TT 9, no slideshow/header text box formatting options

With TT 9 (v 9.0.0.21127) there's no slideshow/header text box formatting options within the Editor. Existing text (added while using v8) can be modified somewhat. The Editor menu appears to be missing some features as there's no options to change text color, align, format a new box... EDIT: Was able to get a popup editor but only upon creating a new text box. Could not get it to display after the initial text box creation nor would it popup at all on a pre-existing/saved text box (created within v8 or 9).

Contact form not working at all

i am using the latest tt version (8.1.0.21135) with Joomla 5.4.3) and tried to set up a contact form,

if i press Send Message in forntend the system always reports an error, see here:

and the button text si not as defined in TT, xou can see in enxt picture:

also the required field Email is after distribution not activated in frontend, is has to be setup in admin modul!

The same menu appears in landscape mode on the smartphone as in portrait mode.

There is no "bootstrap.bootstrap" asset of a "style" type in the registry.

This doesn't happen with other templates. Could it possibly be due to the server settings at HostEurope?
Or at the TT?

ich nutze Templatetoaster für das Template und zum Stylen den SP Pagebuilder.

Wenn ich das TT Template nutze bekomme ich, wenn ich in den Fronteditor von SP Pagebuilder gehe,

When I create a template in TomTom and create the menu, it only appears correctly in the NAVIGATION position. If I then display the menu in that style in a different or newly created position, the style is displayed differently.

Is there a setting for this somewhere? Or is there a guide on how to apply the style to other positions?

wenn ich in TT ein Template erstelle und das Menü erstellt habe, erscheint es ja nur richtig an der NAVIGATION Position. Wenn ich nun das Menü in dem Stil an einer anderen oder neu erstellten Position anzeigen lasse, wird der Stil anders angezeigt.

Kann man irgendwo einstellen? Oder gibt es da eine Anleitung zu, den Stil auch auf andere Positionen anzuwenden?

Template Toaster will not work for a PrestaShop 9 store. You quoted it will work on prestashop 9.

Blog-Title with no link

I have found a bug where if you do not have a link enabled in the blog title, then the default colour will be used and not the one defined in the blog-template. There was a similar problem before, that was v.8.1, and the April release fixed it.

Update: Feb.2026: An old bug seems to have crept back in, the one with the post title.
Could you fix that again? Otherwise, you always have to go through PHP code to change the color. Thank you.

Version 9 looks good and has some improvements. But....
The hamburger menu does not work at all and the sympol is not even displayed correctly in the test view. The TemlateToaser team should correct this error quickly, unfortunately the program cannot be used as it is. It's still beta, so things like this can happen.

Is there any news on the development of beta 9?

How to change the background color of the content

I have tried to change the background color of the content to black. In TT it shows black but in Joomla it is white. I've tried changing Container and Body with container set to no color. Nothing will change the background. It changes in TT but not Joomla

templates not working in wordpress

None of the themes are working on any of my sights. I believe it has something to do with the newest version of PHP.

But, I rolled back to previous versions and the sights only load after I do a refresh. They don't seem compatible with the newest version of wordpress.

I sent a support ticket, and after a week or so, they gave me a link to download a newer version. I did that but it's only a trial, and my old key does not activate it. So now I can't get into any of my old templates.

Opencart 3.03.9 "Latest" call not working right...

I have updated to the latest version of Toaster and I find that Joomla templates created with the new version do not have the background image in articles that I produce in Joomla 5.02. When I look at the thumbnail of the template the background image is shown. The very same template converted to zip and uploaded in the previous version of toaster shows the background image behind the article text as it should. Is this a known issue that will be fixed?

To apply background image of articles, please apply background image of post content on blog page, to achieve this, please follow the steps provided below -

How do I add a link to a particular slideshow slide?

I can't see how to do this.

I would like to be able to add a separate link (internal or external) to each slide.

I'm assuming this basic requirement is there but I'm missing it!

It's for a Joomla 5 site, if that makes any difference.

At a push I could add a button to each slide with a different link, but couldn't find how to do that either.

I am trying to update a template from a prior version.

In the prior version, the post title gets:

However, in my TT8 version, I cannot seem to find where to set this css. It is not in content and I am not trying to change all H1 tags to this, rather just those in post title.

I am using a category blog layout. The blog settings look correct in TT. While I get the correct green, rounded corner display for the surrounding of the title, the color for the H1 title, is wrong and reflects the element H1 title tag.

I was only able to resolve it by changing the H1 element site wide.

How to update older ttr files

My question is for a Joomla files though it may apply to other platforms.

How do I open an older TTR file? I have one which may go back to TT6, but I still need to be able to open it. When I try, it says that my TT8 or TT7 needs to be update, but they are both updated. I can only imagine that the software does not recognize the file as older, rather than newer.

What is the process to open and upgrade TTR files to the current version? What good will it do to install version 6 to open the file if I cannot export the file to version 8 to update the Joomla template to current standards?

I have had a support ticket open on this since August with no reply. Is there any support anymore?

In my Joomla template I can't remove the calendar icon next to the date in the article metadata.

I have succeeded in removing all the others under Blog > Content > Metadata > Icon, yet the calendar one refuses to budge when I bring the template into Joomla 4, despite not appearing in TT, or when I preview the site in Firefox or Chrome.

I, probably foolishly, started styling the menu of a new site while in the 'Blog' bit of TT. When I went back to the 'Home' page I realised it doesn't ripple through - presumably in case you want a different style on different sections of your site. What's my best option now for creating a menu that will apply for all setions of my new site? Can I apply the 'Blog' menu styling to everything somehow? Or should I start on it again, perhaps on the Home page?

Hi Guys

I'm having a few problems with the template.

First is the header, it's fine when in desktop mode, the image displays the full width of the desired page, but in tablet or mobile mode, the header only shows part way across the page.

Next is the menu it is not showing correctly, it seems to be showing as bullet points.

Then there is a problem with the footer, it's not showing at all

ich nutze Templatetoaster und für den Content SP Pagebuilder. Wenn ich dort eine Zeile auf 100% Breite erstelle, entsteht bei meiner Website ein waagerechter Scrollbalken für wenige Pixel. Das nervt und ich möchte den gerne weg haben.

Gibt es da eine CSS Anweisung? Wer könnte mir da weiterhelfen?

My problem:

So in Templatetoaster I create a header with background graphic, logo and text in a text field.

But after importing it into Joomla, only the background graphic and logo is displayed - not the text.

3. click on control panel

4.there click the import button

Clicking on the system on the left side is clear, but I find neither the control panel, nor an import button.
