With TT 9 (v 9.0.0.21127) there's no slideshow/header text box formatting options within the Editor. Existing text (added while using v8) can be modified somewhat. The Editor menu appears to be missing some features as there's no options to change text color, align, format a new box... EDIT: Was able to get a popup editor but only upon creating a new text box. Could not get it to display after the initial text box creation nor would it popup at all on a pre-existing/saved text box (created within v8 or 9).

I have found a bug where if you do not have a link enabled in the blog title, then the default colour will be used and not the one defined in the blog-template. There was a similar problem before, that was v.8.1, and the April release fixed it.

Update: Feb.2026: An old bug seems to have crept back in, the one with the post title.
Could you fix that again? Otherwise, you always have to go through PHP code to change the color. Thank you.

Hello,
You should be able to select this under “Layout” for normal menus as well as hamburger menus. However, I have noticed that there seems to be a bug and the “Layout” selection does not work in combination with the hamburger menu, either for desktop or tablet. Layout is not even available on tablet. Horizontal does not work in any display; the menu is always displayed vertically.

There is some developments. I have indicate some bugs i have found in the version 9 beta. When the update will be done? This i dont know, but i believe They are a great team. They always have been great peoples for me. I have also to do some brainstorming, i'm sure i have great ideas to make it better; so that templatetoaster software is better. I'm not perfect, but i know i have great ideas for them, that will attract more users.

None of the themes are working on any of my sights. I believe it has something to do with the newest version of PHP.

But, I rolled back to previous versions and the sights only load after I do a refresh. They don't seem compatible with the newest version of wordpress.

I sent a support ticket, and after a week or so, they gave me a link to download a newer version. I did that but it's only a trial, and my old key does not activate it. So now I can't get into any of my old templates.

I have updated to the latest version of Toaster and I find that Joomla templates created with the new version do not have the background image in articles that I produce in Joomla 5.02. When I look at the thumbnail of the template the background image is shown. The very same template converted to zip and uploaded in the previous version of toaster shows the background image behind the article text as it should. Is this a known issue that will be fixed?

We all know that cutting and chopping is important in everyday cooking, but using the best knife will not help you avoid injury if you don’t know how to handle it properly. Below are some tips on how to safely use a knife.

Use a sharp knife

You may ask why using a sharp knife is safer when you can get injured easily from a slight cut. The answer is the exact opposite: by using a sharp knife, you exert less strength than you do when using a dull knife. How do I open an older TTR file? I have one which may go back to TT6, but I still need to be able to open it. When I try, it says that my TT8 or TT7 needs to be update, but they are both updated. I can only imagine that the software does not recognize the file as older, rather than newer.

What is the process to open and upgrade TTR files to the current version? What good will it do to install version 6 to open the file if I cannot export the file to version 8 to update the Joomla template to current standards?

In my Joomla template I can't remove the calendar icon next to the date in the article metadata.

I have succeeded in removing all the others under Blog > Content > Metadata > Icon, yet the calendar one refuses to budge when I bring the template into Joomla 4, despite not appearing in TT, or when I preview the site in Firefox or Chrome.
